Airglow explosion in the northern sky

I created this image from a time-lapse. This is a method that I really like to use! If you take a static time-lapse then you get a nice video at the end, if you take e.g. 20 pictures from this series and stack and edit them then you usually also get a nice picture.

In this picture I was very focused on the airglow (the yellow/greenish glow on the horizon). Airglow in this form can be seen very often on La Palma because it is extremely dark there in all directions! In my experience you see it most often over the sea to the north and east, but it can also come directly above you and maybe I was just "unlucky" in the 3 weeks I was there in total...
