Post-Processing Workshops

Private Astrophotography Processing Workshops

Learn astrophotography processing in a focused one-on-one workshop built around real workflows, practical examples and your current skill level.

After more than eight years of astrophotography and countless post-processing sessions, I have built a workflow that combines practical field experience with tools like Photoshop, Astro Pixel Processor, PixInsight and Astro Tools.

Whether you want to improve your deep-sky images, Milky Way edits, nightscape blends or Photoshop workflow, the workshop is tailored to the topic you actually want to understand.

Real workflow experience

Built from years of trial, error and refinement

Astrophotography processing can be overwhelming. There are countless tutorials, different software tools and many workflows that only work under specific conditions.

My workshops are based on the experience I gained by testing, failing, refining and rebuilding my own processing workflows over many years. Instead of giving you a generic course, I help you understand what actually matters for the type of image you want to process.

I mainly work with Photoshop, Astro Pixel Processor, PixInsight and Astro Tools. My focus is on deep-sky processing, Milky Way images, landscape astrophotography and practical Photoshop-based workflows.

Who it is for

For astrophotographers who want focused
guidance instead of endless searching

This workshop is for people who want to understand their processing workflow faster, without spending months or years jumping between random tutorials, failed attempts and unclear techniques.

Beginners

You want a clear starting point

If you are new to astrophotography processing, we can break down the basic steps and build a workflow that is easier to understand and repeat.

Intermediate

You are stuck with your current results

If your data looks promising but the final image does not match your expectations, we can analyze where the workflow breaks down and how to improve it.

Advanced

You want to refine specific techniques

If you already have experience, we can focus on specific topics like H-alpha integration, star handling, color control, contrast, masks or final image finishing.

Possible topics

Choose the topic that fits your workflow

Workshops can be focused on one specific topic or built as a broader session that connects multiple parts of the astrophotography workflow.

Photoshop

Photoshop workflow

Build a structured Photoshop workflow with layers, masks, contrast control, color adjustments, star handling and final image finishing.

Nightscape

Milky Way and landscape astrophotography

Learn workflows for Milky Way images, sky and foreground blends, natural contrast, color control and atmospheric final edits.

Deep-Sky

Deep-sky processing

Work through deep-sky workflows using software such as Astro Pixel Processor, PixInsight and Photoshop, depending on your data and goals.

H-alpha

H-alpha workflow for landscape and deep-sky astrophotography

Understand how H-alpha data can be integrated into landscape astrophotography workflows and how to combine it with RGB images.

How it works

Request first, book after we define the right scope

To make sure the workshop fits your needs, you do not book a random number of hours directly. First, you send a request with your topic, current experience level and goals. I then recommend a realistic workshop length.

Step 01

Send a request

Use the contact form and tell me what you want to learn, which software you use and what kind of images or problems you want to work on.

Step 02

I review your request

I will check your topic and reply within one to three business days with a recommendation for the workshop length and possible structure.

Step 03

You book the session

Once the scope is clear, I will send you the booking link for the agreed session length. You can then book and pay for the workshop right away.

Step 04

We work through the workflow

During the workshop, we go through the selected topic live. After the session, the recording is uploaded and made available to you.

Your images

We can work with my examples or your own data

In many workshops, I demonstrate the workflow using my own image data. This makes it easier to explain the steps clearly and avoid technical problems caused by unsuitable files.

If you want to work with your own images, you can mention this in your request. I will review whether the data is suitable for the topic and whether it makes sense to use it as the main example during the workshop.

Using your own image data

You can submit example images or processing files before the workshop. I will check whether they are suitable and let you know if we can use them directly or if my own example data would be more effective for the session.

Pricing guide

Workshop pricing depends on the agreed session length

The final workshop length is agreed after your request. As a general guide, the first hour starts at 120 €, with reduced rates for additional hours.

1 Hour

120 €

Best for focused questions, a short workflow review or one clearly defined processing topic.

2 Hours

220 €

A good option for a more complete workflow session or a guided walkthrough of one image type.

3 Hours

300 €

Suitable for deeper topics, more detailed workflow explanations like the H-Alpha workflow.

4 Hours

360 €

Recommended only for multiple topics or more advanced sessions that require enough time.

Why request first?

The goal is to avoid booking too little or too much time. After your request, I will recommend a realistic session length based on your topic, experience level and goals.
