Astrophotographer, night-sky storyteller and creator of Astro Tools.
Behind the camera
I grew up near Freiburg in the Markgräflerland region and started photography in 2017 while training to become a photo and media technical assistant. What began as general photography quickly turned into a fascination with the night sky.
After discovering astrophotography through tutorials and videos, I was immediately hooked. Since then, I have spent countless nights under dark skies, learning from mistakes, testing equipment and improving my processing workflow one project at a time.
My work has taken me from the Alps and Iceland to La Palma and Namibia, always searching for darker skies, stronger compositions and new ways to capture the universe above us.
Focus areas
My work combines practical field experience, deep-sky imaging, nightscape photography and image processing tools built from real astrophotography workflows.
Working from the Black Forest region near Freiburg, with regular projects under dark skies across Europe and beyond.
From first night-sky attempts to complex deep-sky images, Milky Way panoramas and long-term imaging projects.
Capturing nebulae, galaxies, star fields and landscapes under the stars with a focus on clean detail and natural atmosphere.
Developing practical Photoshop tools based on real processing workflows for faster and more controlled astro image editing.
